Matt Suhre Photography
Matt Suhre was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico. His interest in photography began early, when he enrolled in a 10th grade photo class. He has been hooked ever since.
Suhre went on to manage the darkroom for the Santa Fe Photo Workshops for several summers. At the Workshops, Suhre worked closely with such notables as Sam Abell, Alan Ross, Mark Citret, Jerry Spagnoli, Craig Barber, and Arno Minkenen. The Workshops provided Suhre a chance to perfect his printing skills as well as learn about platinum/palladium and Daguerreotype processes.
Suhre is currently working on a book of photographs about Albuquerque, and shooting sculpture for renowned sculptor Glenna Goodacre.
